The personalized famolino FaceTime photo card makes video and audio calls simple, personal, and easy to understand. Unlock the iPhone, hold the card against the back, tap the notification – and the FaceTime call to the saved phone number or email address begins.

The card is used on the iPhone of the person who is to initiate the call – for example, on your grandma's or grandpa's iPhone. When ordering, you can choose whether a classic FaceTime video call or a FaceTime audio call without video should be started.

You can individually define the name, subtitle, and photo. The easy-to-read name and large photo help to quickly recognize the contact person. In the subtitle, you can add, for example, "Your daughter," "Your son," or a personal text.

The famolino FaceTime photo card works exclusively with Apple iPhones and FaceTime. The person being called must also have a FaceTime-capable Apple device. The stored phone number or email address must be registered for FaceTime. FaceTime must be activated and set up on the iPhone.

The famolino card works passively, requires neither battery nor charging, and is therefore usable for many years.

Using famolino is child's play:

1. Unlock your smartphone.
2. Hold the famolino card against the back of your smartphone.
3. Tap the pop-up or notification.
4. The smartphone triggers the function mentioned under "Product Description".
   

No app or setup on the smartphone is required for this. A famolino card works passively, requires neither a battery nor charging, and is therefore operational for many years.

For the card to work, your smartphone must be able to detect and read NFC tags. Most smartphones from around 2018 onwards support this feature. • The famolino card is intended to trigger a stored function – for example, a contact, a message, a link, or a communication application – via NFC on a compatible smartphone. Use the card exclusively for this purpose.
• To use the card, you need a compatible smartphone with the NFC function enabled. Depending on the function, an internet connection, a suitable application, and camera or microphone permissions may also be required.
• The function may vary or be temporarily unavailable depending on the smartphone, settings, internet connection, and the availability of the stored service.
• Check the card for damage before use. Do not use it if it shows cracks, deformations, peeling, or other damage. Do not bend, punch holes in, cut, or alter the card. Protect it from water, extreme heat, open flames, and aggressive chemicals.
• Clean the card with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water and do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Store the card in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Test the card before regular use. The card merely triggers the stored function on the smartphone. It does not ensure that a contact is reachable, that a connection is established, or that a message is read and answered.
• For message or status cards, only the stored message is transmitted. The card does not automatically detect the location, health status, or actual safety of the person using it. Therefore, check whether the selected message is appropriate for the current situation before use.
• For emergency call cards, the following also applies: The famolino card is not an independent emergency device and does not replace a direct emergency call. In case of acute danger or a medical emergency, dial the local emergency number immediately; in Germany, this is 112. Do not rely solely on the card in an emergency.
