Write message | famolino photo card

Send messages directly with Tap & Type

The personalized famolino photo card makes communicating with important people simple, personal, and easy to understand. Unlock your smartphone, hold the card to the back, tap the notification – and the selected WhatsApp or SMS dialog for the saved phone number opens immediately.

When ordering, you choose whether the card should open a WhatsApp dialog or an SMS dialog. The user can then enter and send a message directly. On Apple iPhones, the SMS dialog is opened via iMessage, if available.

With the WhatsApp version, additional options are available: in addition to a text message, you can also record a voice message or start a WhatsApp video call with another tap.

You can customize the name, subtitle, and photo. The large photo and the easy-to-read name help to quickly recognize the right contact. In the subtitle, you can add, for example, "Your son," "Your daughter," or a personal note.

The famolino photo card is especially helpful for people who struggle with small fonts, many contacts, or complex menus. It creates a simple, visible gateway to communication with family, friends, and other important people.

No additional app is required for the SMS or iMessage version. For the WhatsApp version, WhatsApp must be installed and set up on the smartphone. The famolino card works passively, requires neither a battery nor charging, and is therefore functional for many years.

Design your personal famolino photo card now – for simple messages and more closeness in everyday life.

Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference. They are part of the product information and contain important details regarding safe and intended use.

• The famolino card is intended to trigger a stored function – for example, a contact, a message, a link, or a communication application – via NFC on a compatible smartphone. Use the card exclusively for this purpose.
• To use the card, you require a compatible smartphone with the NFC function activated. Depending on the function, an internet connection, a suitable application, and camera or microphone permissions may also be required.
• Functionality may vary or be temporarily unavailable depending on the smartphone, settings, internet connection, and the availability of the stored service.
• Check the card for damage before use. Do not use it if it shows cracks, deformations, peeling, or other damage. Do not bend, punch, cut, or modify the card. Protect it from water, excessive heat, open flames, and aggressive chemicals.
• Clean the card with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water and do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Store the card in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
• Test the card before regular use. The card only triggers the stored function on the smartphone. It does not ensure that a contact is reachable, that a connection is established, or that a message is read and answered.
• For message or status cards, only the stored message is transmitted. The card does not automatically detect the location, the health status, or the actual safety of the person using it. Therefore, check before use whether the selected message is appropriate for the current situation.
• For emergency cards, the following also applies: The famolino card is not an independent emergency device and does not replace a direct emergency call. In case of acute danger or a medical emergency, dial the local emergency number immediately; in Germany, this is 112. Do not rely solely on the card in an emergency.
